Palm Beach Atlantic University College of the Arts Voice Intensive is a two- week summer program offering a concentrated study experience designed for high school vocalists ages 14 to 18. The program will allow young artists to explore their abilities as solo performers through opportunities in a wide range of repertoire interests and styles while meeting students where they are. Through college-level training by world class faculty in a friendly nurturing environment, young vocalists will have the opportunity to move their vocal mastery forward, develop performance skills and make new friends in the process.

Our young vocalists will take part in daily group and individual sessions in vocal technique, pedagogy, repertoire development, body awareness and strengthening, vocal diction, performance style and techniques, ensemble work, and college audition prep. Attendees will experience growth and develop a balanced approach to singing. Students will also have the opportunity to enhance reading and music theory skills at all levels. Masterclasses and sessions with PBAU’s distinguished voice faculty will impact students through individualized experiences. The program will conclude with a showcase of student performances to be held on the Campus of PBAU in the beautiful Vera Lea Rinker, Persson Hall.
